Taichi Basic Course


We are pleased to offer a new Taichi Basic Course (Adult Level) for individuals aged 12 years old and above at Wufang Singapore. Ever since Wufang was set up in 2004 by Singapore's only World Wushu Champion, Mr. Vincent Ng, we have received tremendous support from students and parents. To offer the best to our students, we are constantly expanding our prolific team of instructors and fine tuning our course curriculum. In order to further enrich student's minds in their pursuit of interest in different forms of wushu, we are thus offering a new Taichi Basic Course at Wufang in Cairnhill CC.


Taichi is a combination of soft and tough form of wushu. The concept of Taichi is based on the operating principles of yin and yang, with the movements going in circular, continuous and flowing paths. You can practise Taichi as a recreational sport to strengthen the body and cultivate the mind or master it as a competitive sport in the international arena.
 
We are very honoured to have Mr. Goh Qiu Bin joining the team as our Taichi instructor. Mr. Goh is a 3 times SEA Games gold medallist and an Asian Taichi Champion. He has also won the richly deserved "Sportsman of the year" title in 2006. Mr. Goh is well-known for his skilful and fluid movements which he combines with amazing technical strength.

The course term consists of 12 lessons. Each lesson is a 2-hour session, conducted once a week. The course fee is S$250.00 nett and payment may be made in cash or by cheque payable to “Cairnhill CCMC”. We are opening classes on the following days in December 2008:

Every Tuesday: 7.30pm - 9.30pm
Every Thursday: 7.30pm - 9.30pm
Every Sunday: 8.00am - 10.00am / 10.30am - 12.30pm


Please Note:

1. The course is confirmed only upon full registration and payment by a minimum of
__12 students per class each day.
2. Places are limited and will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis.
3. Your chosen class slot is strictly subject to availability.
4. Please submit your registration form and make payment at Cairnhill CC.
